The last 9 months.....

After a year of going back and forth on if we should have another baby, we decided to give it 3 months.  Well in 2 months it happened.... I was pregnant. Clint and I aren't getting any younger, so God got the ball rolling!!HA HA  I must say it was a hot summer being prego, but with one unexpected kidney stone removal I managed through it.  ( Kidney stones are like labor for sure.) Here I am at 4 months.

This is the night before delivery.. As you can see I am more than ready to get baby out!!

We tried to see baby's sex at our 20 wk sonogram, but baby wasn't showing nothing.  So we were anxious to find out what we were having... The delivery went well. Clint, and my sisters were in the room w/ me.  And on Oct. 18th, 2:56 p.m. Leah Grace was born!!!! She weighed 7lbs 13 oz (same as her sister Macie) and 21 inches long.  Beautiful baby with lots of brown hair.  God blessed us with another healthy girl.

They were both so ready to start school.  I take them to school every day and they ride the bus home.  It sure is quiet here during the day since I'm not working now. (more to come on that change) 



Boating at Melvern Lake

This was our only outing boating this summer.  We spent a few hours at Melvern lake.  The girls had a good time on the raft.  Kept telling Clint to go faster!!!

Macie lost her 1st tooth the end of August.  Just shy of turning 6.   



Hot July at the Fair

July means cram to get ready for the fair.  Addie once again did photography, dog, and horse.  And once again receive another grand champion in photography.  Her color truck picture even got to go to Hutchinson to the State Fair.  (Have not heard results about that.) 

Her and Belle did showmanship & obedience.  Belle is horrible at obedience.  She outweighs Addie by about 25 lbs, which makes it difficult for Addie. 

Getting ready for the horse show.  Mannnn was Addie nervous!! (I won't even go into details).

Once she got in the saddle, her and Tuffy (which he is 27 yrs this year) did really well.  Her western pleasure was fun to watch. (For me anyways, Clint thinks the horse stuff is really boring- go figure.)

Another year done... We survived the heat and took home some ribbons!!

Summer Softball 2012

Macie enjoyed her first year of  T-ball. She was fun to watch, always gave me a thumbs up when she did something good.  She actually hit better when Clint pitched to her than off the tee.

Addie really didn't care to much about softball this year.  We decided to make her play anyway.  Probably not a wise parenting move on our part.  I don't think she hardly swung the bat all season. Yikes...

Big Hill Trip

Soooooo, I have alot of catching up to do.  I have to be in the blogging mood to do this, and as you can see that hasn't been for a while.  Spring Fun - The first of warmer weather we headed to Big Hill to camp for the weekend.  The girls loved riding their bikes everywhere.  I loved the relaxation of it all!!   Of course you have to have a cozy fire and smores!!

Addie's 4-H Talk

Every 4-h'er has to get up in front of their group and give a talk about something.  Addie did her talk on pet dental care.  She made a poster and explained the importance of dental care.  She did a very good job!! A year ago - she would not have done this.  Her confidence is building, thanks to 4-H!!!!
